This project aimed to situate a new house in its suburban, coastal New Jersey context. Through the process of updating the landscape, we also wanted to improve the habitat value of the property, planting native species including Black gum (Nyssa sylvatica), Dogwood (Cornus florida), Sweetbay Magnolia (Magnolia virginiana), and Hawthorn (Crataegus viridis) plus a matrix of native shrubs and perennials.

This project included the design and oversight of installation of two new driveways, a formal dining patio, an informal terrace and fire pit, as well as paths, lighting, and irrigation for the property.
